The service
ImageConvert is a free tool that converts images in your web browser. It is provided as is, without accounts, and may change or be unavailable at any time.
Your images and your responsibility
- You are responsible for making sure you have the right to convert and use the images you add.
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.
- Conversion happens on your device. We do not receive your files and cannot recover them or the converted results for you.
No warranty
We try to produce valid, accurate files, but we do not guarantee that conversions are free of errors, that output suits your purpose, or that the service will run in every browser. Keep your original files. Converting to a lossy format such as JPG, WebP or AVIF permanently discards some image detail in the converted copy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service, including loss or corruption of files.
Third-party software
The site includes open-source components, including libheif (LGPL-3.0) for HEIC decoding and libaom/libwebp through the jSquash packages (Apache-2.0, BSD). Their licences apply to those components.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
