Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Images are decoded and converted by your own browser using built-in features and WebAssembly. The site does use privacy-friendly page analytics and may show ads, which are described on the privacy page, but image data is never part of that.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how often you convert. The site is supported by advertising.
Which formats are supported?
You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, BMP and GIF files, and save as JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or BMP.
Why does a conversion sometimes fail?
Large images need a lot of memory. If your device runs out, you will see a message. Try fewer files at once, or turn on resizing in Settings.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes. Add them together, wait for them to finish, and use Download all to get one ZIP file.
